Hail damages roofs in Denver suburbs

As you are all aware, on Monday, we had severe storms hit the Denver area producing up to quarter-size hail. Many homes and businesses in Highlands Ranch, Centennial and Aurora were damaged.

“Within seconds all you heard was hard impact,” says Ray Saccomano of Arapahoe Hyundai. The auto dealership in Centennial had damage everywhere.“We have over 500 cars on our lot and each and everyone got damaged. It looked like it snowed in September.”

The storm system, which moved up from the southwest part of the state, dropped heavy snow on Telluride and Crested Butte before dumping up to an inch of dime-, nickel and quarter-sized hail in parts of Centennial and Highlands Ranch.”

If your home or business was affected by the heavy rain and hail, be aware of the fly-by-night companies that show up after a damaging storm. They claim to be storm damage specialists, but their service, products and warranties are sub-par.
